VOLUME 4 POWER TRIPPIN' Here's the hypothetical: People in positions of power abusing their priviledges. Politicians, cops, company CEOs/executives... this has been happening since the year dot so why is the media going on like it's a new concept? Why? I mean this whole thing with Peter Reith's telecard, come on, it's really starting to annoy the shit out of me! I keep hearing on the news how it refuses to leave the headlines, well duh, when the media is regurgitating the same story from four different perspectives fifteen times daily, it makes it harder for something to lie down. And if you want to talk about rorts, I'm sure there's more rorting than you can poke a stick at going on in more places than most people would care to know about. Wake up guys... Just yesterday I see another pollie on the news who was "busted" lending out her parliamentary car without informing her office. Oh my God! Call Internal affairs on that one! So why did the media crawl all over that as well? Slow news day or something was it? It kind of makes me wonder is there something else going on right now that we need to be distracted from? Anyone see any UFOs or any shit like that? I'm just waiting to hear about some pollie charging their Tool Shed account to the government. Now wouldn't that be a classic! |
